2nd Year Art Visit Croke Park - Museum of Rights (80)
2nd year students visited Croke park to celebrate the 25th anniversary on The United Nations Rights of the child. This event was organized by the Ombudsman for children who visited 2nd year Art students during this projects. The Art students in collaboration with Dan Colley from the Flying Horse Theater and their art teachers created a human rights museum for all to enjoy. Included in this exhibition was students am amazing mind maps, personal objects that reflected their rights as young people and a bedroom filled with obje ts that reflect memories and meaning from their childhood.
The students took part in activities and group work with young people from all over Ireland to discuss their rights as young people. They were amazing ambassadors of their school Larkin Community College. They are all talented young people. We are proud of you all.
