LCA Meal for Teachers and Students (4)
Sixth year Leaving Certificate Applied Students enjoying the three course meal that they prepared from scratch.
As a member of the kitchen staff we cooked up a storm
The starter was a homemade soup. Simone Bowes and Evan D’Arby prepared a cream of vegetable soup. Tori Heapes baked the accompanying soda bread served warm with butter.
The main course was a spicy chicken stir fry with peppers. It was served on a bed of noodles. Tara Smyth and Jack Dempsey were in charge of the preparation of the main course. The entire kitchen staff helped to plate everything up and the result was a culinary delight.
Dessert was baked by Jasmaine Cumiskey, Lee Barry and Ikraan Maxamed. Unfortunately the Chocolate brownie was so delicious it did not last long enough to be photographed.
All in all the day was memorable and everybody including some teachers and staff thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
