Best Wishes To The Leaving Cert Class of 2017

Best Wishes to the Leaving Cert Class of 2017

A warm and heartfelt congratulations to our departed Leaving Cert class of 2017. The immense work, dedication and enthusiasm you displayed throughout the senior cycle programme with us here at Larkin did not go unnoticed and as a result of your trojan efforts the majority of you are now thriving in the realm of further education or entering into the working world as well rounded, charismatic and ambitious individuals.

Some of you have secured places in our national universities such as Trinity College, UCD and Maynooth. While a large number of you went on to study in Liberties College, Ballsbridge College of Further Education, Killester College, IT Blanch, and IT Tallaght and one student even gave up the hussle and bustle of city life and bravely ventured outside the pale to study west in GMIT! A number of you have also obtained apprenticeships in such lucrative areas such as hairdressing, tattoo artistry, carpentry and plumbing to name but a few.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you the very best of luck and happiness as you embark on the next exciting chapter of your life. We are extremely proud of all that you have achieved, primarily for yourselves and your future careers but we are also proud and thankful for all that you have accomplished for our school during your time at Larkin Community College. Whether you were involved in a scholarship, performed on stage, won gold at Santry, gave back to the community in a Localise project, or were just one of those students who had a smile each day for peers and teachers alike - THANK YOU! You have undoubtedly helped shape and formulate the positive, inclusive school atmosphere we are lucky enough to enjoy in Larkin today.

We hope you look back fondly on the formative years you spent here and our door will always be open for you.

We would love for you to come back and share your successes and life experiences with us and our next generation of students.
