Open Day Tuesday 18th September 2018

Come along to our fantastic open day on Tuesday 18th of September  from 2:30pm to 7pm and experience every day life in Larkin Community College. The college will be bustling with exhibitions from  a wide ranging array of subjects including Music, Geography, History, English, Science, Business,Maths, Italian, Home Economics, Woodwork and Art among others.

There will be an opportunity to sign up for trials in Larkin's prestigious scholarship programs of Arts, Football and Basketball Development Programme. The open day will consist of tours that will showcase the first rate facilities we have to offer such as our two fully equipped science labs, two fully equipped computer rooms, two art and crafts rooms, a home economics room, JCSP library, woodwork room and our many other superb educational resources.

There will also be an opportunity for visitors to catch a glimpse of our state of the art sports hall which includes a recently renovated outdoor astro turf area, a fully equipped gym, dance studio, spinning room, weights room, basketball court and climbing wall.

Don't forget to take a quick look at our trophy cabinet in the main atrium area of the school which highlights our success in academics, sport and drama.

We work with a variety of outside partners to enhance the educational experience of our students including Irish Life, FAI, Gaiety School of Acting, Abbey Theatre, KPMG, Localise and many more.

Our past students have gone on to study in UCD, Trinity, DCU, NUI Maynooth, DIT, ITT, ITB as well as a host of local colleges of further education and appreniceship programmes. Some of the alumni of our Football Scholarship have gone on to play with the Irish Senior Ladies and Mens teams as well as having the opportunity to play in the UK with a number of different clubs.
