Females in Theatre Making Workshop held in the Abbey Theatre
On Friday, 25 female students had the pleasure of spending the morning with the Abbey Theatre for their 'Females In Theatre' educational workshops. Our girls were lucky enough to get an insightful introduction to Stage direction, Stage Management, Sound and Lighting! The workshop was hugely engaging and enjoyable and students learnt a wealth of information about how to get into what can sometimes be perceived as a male dominated industry!
Phil Kingston from the Abbey has also kindly offered one female TY student per year, the opportunity to undertake their work experience unit at the Abbey!
