6th Year Talk From Liberties College
On Monday Liberties College kicked off the week with a talk to 6th year students about what it is like to study in Liberties and what courses are on offer there!
Junior Cycle Talks from TU Dublin
Thank you to Conor O’Malley from TU Dublin who zoomed in to our 1st, 2nd & 3rd years on thursday and spoke about career paths and college course options as part of College Awareness Week! Really engaging talk!
Virtual Careers Evening
Thank you to everyone who came along on Thursday evening to support our virtual careers evening.
Our students learned so much from all the volunteers and it has really helped give them clarity on what pathway they might take next year.
We would like to especially thank our volunteers, our past students, our current students, the team from UCD, Dublin Lions Club and the teachers who stayed back after school to support us.
Whole School Quiz
On Friday we had our whole school College Aware Kahoot Challenge. We asked all staff to complete a short survey on their previous jobs and the Whole School Quiz was based on the answers. Students and staff had to guess who worked on a prawn trawler? or who regularly got sawn in half during magic shows? to name but a few!
In total 313 people took part!! Well done to Lucian Matei, Lea Kardon, Ilhaan Maxamed, Luke Kearns and Taylor Savage who came first, second and third!
Well done to our first years who got special prizes Ryan Zheng, Wai Chen So and Madelina Popa and finally to Mr. Delaney and Ms. Meehan who won the teacher prizes!
