Drop-in Readers' Group in the Library (5)

Bernadette Larkin, Reader-in-Residence for Dublin City Public Libraries, hosted a Drop-in Readers' Group in the library this morning.  She met with readers, discussed books they like, and recommended books for them to borrow.  She also brought pastries!  We are hoping to continue this Readers' Group in the future.  Sign up in the library!

Bernadette has also started working with a group of first years on a Picture Book project.  They meet and discuss different types of picture book and what they like/don't like to read.  All opinions are welcome!  We are hoping continue this project when school comes back in September 2017 up until December.

Bernadette's Reader-in-Residence program is part of the UNESCO City of Literature initiative.
