Fireside Chat With Dr. Peter Sheekey (6)

Dr Peter Sheekey had a fireside chat in the school library on Monday. This is the start of a programme to promote social inclusion and cultural experiences among our first year students. This initative will be delivered in partnership with Peter Sheekey, from the intercultural Language services and first year English teachers. This initiative will support students learning as they transition from Primary to Secondary school. 
 

Students will participate in 

Intercultural storytelling. This will promote intercommunity cohesion and social inclusion as a literacy practice.

Students will share and co-write their own biographical experiences and cultural knowledge which will be then published into a book.
