Friendship Week 2019 (15)

Huge thanks to all staff and students who participated in Friendship week. 

The library created a book display for friendship week and added some friendship messages to their positivi-tree. 

Ms. Creighton and her students created a friendship wall outside the library which will be added to during the year. It is a wonderful display which demonstrates the importance of friendship in our school, it it includes photos and an array of quotes which can continue to be built upon.

Some fantastic posters were made by students accross the school and we have some samples enclosed in the gallery. Winners will be announced on Monday and awarded prizes.

Our third year SPHE students delivered a powerpoint on friendship to every class in the school on Monday. Well done guys you did yourselves very proud! 

On Tuesday Humourfit took place in the library for all first and second years. The show put on was the "Mighty Bully Brady”. This production showed students the impact of bullying and caused them to reflect on their own actions during the performance! Really enjoyable show! Would highly recommend!!

During tutor time on Wednesday a presentation was delivered to all students on the topic of friendship and inclusion.

On Friday staff and students wore something red to show that the whole school community are against any form of bullying.
