Week 3

TY Arts students had a fantastic day today at the Lir  4th Lir Metlife Drama workshop! The session was facilitated by the brilliant Davey Kelleher who shared invaluable techniques with students re voice, posture, general stage craft and working as an whole cast ensemble!
Well done to all the students involved who as always got stuck into the proceedings! We are looking forward to our 4th and last Lir workshop next week!

Week 2

Today TY Arts had their second session with Lir Drama facilitator extraordinaire Dee Burke! Students had a engaging and energetic morning working on their group warm ups and improvisational acting skills! There was ALOT of laughter throughout which is always a good sign! Well done to the students involved who will now move on to the 2nd stage of the LIR workshop next week with a visit to the actual college itself! 
Congrats to all our budding thespians and a massive thanks to facilitator Dee, who was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Week 1

Today, TY Arts students had a fantastic 4hr Drama workshop with Lir facilitator, Dee Burke! 
The students had an amazing time learning techniques to help them progress in their improvisational skills and drama technique.. a throughly enjoyable day!There is definitely some talented actors within our midst!Looking forward to another workshop next week! 
Also a big shout out to 'hypeman' Melpatrick for bringing A game energy to the proceedings today and to all the students involved!
