TY and Localise Christmas Spinathon 2019 (25)

Well done to the 402 TY Class, their teacher Ms. Kavannagh  and to Derek and Debbie from Localise who have raised over €500 in their Christmas fundraising event in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust!

The students decided a number of weeks ago they would like to donate 40 sleeping bags to the Peter McVerry Trust and in order to achieve that amount they set a target of €400 which they have smashed! 

They done this by agreeing to complete a Spinathon where students and staff would cycle 400km in 2 hours! Great fun was had during the spinathon with Christmas songs blaring as they cycled through the "snow storm"!

Well done guys! I hope you enjoyed it as much as we all did! Thank you to Mr. Usher all the teachers who took the time to lead the spin for 15 minutes each alongside the class!!
