TY Work Experience Workshop 2019 (20)

Thank you to Chris from Linesight, Emer and Aoife from Solas, Cróna from IBEC, Hilary from the Department of Health, Joe from An Garda Siochana, John fromthe NEIC & Ruth from State Street for coming in to the school on Thursday to talk to TY students about their upcoming work placements. 

The speakers each shared their own career journey while also giving students an insight into their organisations and how each work experience programme will run.

The aim of the workshop was to alleviate fears and to create an enthusiasm about the work experience programme amongst students and this was certainly achieved. Learning about what each of the organisations do and what they have planned for students really helped to put them at ease.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the organisations who have agreed to take a TY student on work experience and also to John from the NEIC for organising the work placements for our students.

TY students go on work experience from Monday the 3rd of February until Friday the 14th.
