Well done to our under 16 girls senior squad who had an impressive 41-16 victory over Portmarnock CS in this mornings season opener. The girls were committed and professional throughout always displaying the high standards expected of this group. The girls raced in to a 14 point early lead due to some tough defence and forced turnovers with Co Captains  Rose Mesquita and Amran Maxamad finishing moves with aplomb on the offensive end. Suvd Ulambayor controlled the point setting up some great offensive plays. Tatiana Orlov and the ever impressive Alicia Jadia kept the scoreboard ticking over. The second half saw the introduction of Daria Stasiak, Joanne Bambe, Sunna Begum, Leah Tighe, Diane Hrvisceau and Gizelle Roldan. There was no let up in intensity and the girls held a strong comfortable lead throughout.  Scorers: Rose Mesquita 17, Amran Maxamad 12, Alicia Jadia 6, Sunna Begum 2, Diana Hrvesceau 2, Joanne Bambe 2.
