Our school is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Amber Flag in recognition of our commitment to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. This award, led by our students and staff, highlights our efforts to create a supportive, inclusive environment where mental health is prioritized. Through various initiatives, workshops, and activities, we strive to foster resilience, awareness, and a sense of community. Our students really anchored this project with the Darkness into Light walk for Pieta House last May. Our sixth year LCA group and transition year project MHESA group organised events such as bake sales, tuck shops and a school sports day to further fundraiser for Pieta House. We are honored to receive this award and remain dedicated to ensuring that mental health continues to be a core focus in our school. A huge thank you to everybody who contributed to this wonderful cause over the last number of months.
