Farewell Mr. McCourt!
Today we said a heartfelt goodbye to Mr. McCourt, our much loved Woodwork teacher who officially retired. Mr. McCourt has been a hugely valued member of staff, inspiring generations of students with his craftsmanship, patience and passion for teaching.
In true Mr. McCourt style, he marked his last day with something special, a final gig in the school library! The space was packed with students eager to enjoy his performance, say their goodbyes and wish him well as he begins this exciting new chapter.
Known for his wit and his famous catchphrase, “If it’s not a right angle, it’s a wrong angle!”, Mr. McCourt has left an unforgettable mark on our school community.
We will miss Mr. McCourt very much and thank him sincerely for everything he has given to our school. From everyone here, we wish him a happy, healthy and fulfilling retirement.
