First Years Complete Big Dig Workshop
First years got to participate in a fun interactive archeology workshop on Thursday. This workshop was facilitated by the The School of Irish Archaeology. They offer curriculum based workshops that provide students with a practical hands on introduction to archaeology. These workshops are fantastic for helping students build their understanding of history through archaeological methods.
Our students got to engage in activities such as ancient crafts and excavation techniques. Students developed critical thinking skills and got to see how archaeology connects to their studies. The workshops also combined scientific approaches with real life experiences, making learning both interactive and exciting!!
A huge thank you to Jean our librarian for facilitating our JCSP students with this workshop!
