Jamie Carroll Completes Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership & Communication Action
Congratulations to Jamie Carroll, a dedicated fifth year student, on successfully completing the Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership & Communication Action level 6 course. This one year part-time programme empowers young people to develop vision, confidence, life skills and leadership capacity, enabling them to make a meaningful difference in their communities through practical projects and actions. Jamie had his graduation in the University of Galway on Saturday 23rd of November 2024.
Jamie began the course in January and impressively completed all modules and projects by April. Along the way, he achieved qualifications as a swim teacher, lifeguard and in CPR, equipping him with valuable skills to contribute actively to the Dublin 1 community. Reflecting on his experience, Jamie shared:
“I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It has greatly enhanced my leadership skills, which are essential for my future career in Aviation. I’m also excited to apply these new skills to positively impact my local area.”
