Lord Mayor of Dublin Visit

Lots of fun was had Thursday afternoon with the Lord Mayor of Dublin visiting Larkin as part of the Kindness Heroes School Scheme! He was greeted by our support dog Quinny (who is with us for the week) and the MHESA team who showed him their fab “What Makes Us Grow” tree display which is filled with leaves completed by everyone in our school community.

The Lord Mayor spoke to students about the power of kindness and engaged in a Q&A session. Some of our students shared their experiences of volunteering in the community and spreading kindness and we had some lovely performances from our 1st and 6th year students.

Huge thanks to all students involved for a lovely event and to Ms.Meehan for all her hard work organising. It was a wonderful celebration of the all the kindness that takes place in our school and community on a daily basis.
