Maths Week 2024
To celebrate Maths Week, which took place from 14th - 18th October, we are delighted to have hosted a maths magician, Tiago in our school. He hosted workshops for our first and third year students. Tiago entertained students with the wonder of magic through the beauty of maths to create mind-bending, interactive performances. With a unique blend of clever tricks, puzzles, and mathematical principles, Tiago captivated our students, turning numbers and logic into an engaging and unforgettable experience. Through witnessing impossible predictions, solving exciting riddles, or learning the hidden magic behind everyday maths, Tiago made the subject fun and accessible for everyone. Perfect for anyone who loves a bit of magic with a twist of maths!
Well done to everyone who submitted a guess for the amount of sweets in the jar. Well done to Jayden in class 101 who had the closest guess and won the jar!
