TY Students Celebrate Book Launch Success

Students from Larkin recently celebrated the launch of Inficted, a new anthology created in partnership with Fighting Words Ireland. Over the course of the project, Transition Year students worked alongside students from three other inner city schools, attending weekly workshops led by professional writers, including author Roddy Doyle.

During the programme, students developed and wrote their own short stories, which were later compiled into the published anthology. The book is now available for purchase both in house and online.

The school is extremely proud of the students involved: Coco, Ewa, Arianne, Rejoice, Elena, Whitney, Lohanne, Jamila, Felix, Misha, Danas, Wilker and Hemish. Their creativity and dedication have resulted in a wonderful publication that showcases their talent as young writers.
