TY Students Explore Career Opportunities at the Department of Education

Our TY students enjoyed an exciting trip to the Department of Education as part of the P-TECH Future Pathways programme.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to meet representatives from a range of leading companies and learn more about career opportunities and upcoming work experience placements. The visit provided a valuable insight into different industries and helped students explore potential pathways for their future careers.

Companies represented included Irish Rail, Cisco, IBM, Uisce Éireann, Yahoo, Accenture Ireland, NCIRL and Al Goodbody. Representatives spoke to students about their organisations and the opportunities available to young people interested in developing their skills and gaining workplace experience.

The visit was a fantastic opportunity for our TY students to engage with industry professionals and learn more about the world of work.
