Women in Tech Workshop

Recently, 30 female students had the exciting opportunity to participate in a “Women in Tech” workshop at the prestigious Abbey Theatre, in collaboration with the Lir Academy. This hands-on experience allowed the students to explore the world of stage production, learning to operate sound and lighting systems and gaining insights into stage management. Each student got the chance to step into the role of running a professional technical rehearsal, giving them a valuable glimpse into the behind the scenes work that powers live performances. The event was a huge success, thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. A special thank you to Ms. Shiggins for organising this inspiring and educational trip!
