Larkin Students Participates in Trinity College Dublin's "Pytch" Learning Showcase

On February 26, 2026, students from Larkin C.C. proudly took part in the “Pytch” learning showcase at TCD, delivered in partnership with city Connects. The event celebrated the achievements of schools across the NEIC in coding and STEM education.

Over four weeks, our students developed their skills in text-based Python programming using the innovative Pytch platform. Through creativity and teamwork, they designed and built a variety of interactive games and animations, demonstrating both their technical knowledge and imagination.

During the showcase, Dr. Ben North presented a selection of the students’ projects, highlighting their hard work and progress. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to experience a university setting, showcase their learning, and celebrate their success in STEM.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and greatly valued the opportunity to visit TCD. It was an inspiring experience that encouraged further interest in coding and future educational pathways.
