Transition Year Trip to Italy
A group of students from Transition Year recently enjoyed an unforgettable language and cultural trip to Lake Garda in Italy, the students experienced a perfect blend of learning and adventure.
Highlights of the trip included a scenic boat cruise from Sirmione to Garda town, as well as a breathtaking journey on the Monte Baldo cable car, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Students also took part in a memorable sunset swim in Lake Garda.
The group travelled by vaporetto to Venice, where they visited a traditional Murano glass factory and explored the unique canals and architecture of the city. A day trip to Verona included a guided tour, giving students the chance to discover the rich history and culture of this beautiful city.
For some added excitement, the students spent a fun filled day at Gardaland theme park, enjoying a wide range of attractions.
Overall, the trip was a fantastic opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Italian language and culture while creating lasting memories with their classmates.
